Wordless{ish} Wednesday: The Zoo!

Friday morning we took Lily on her first(!!) trip to the zoo. I knew she would love it because she is obsessed with animals, but seriously, girlfriend was pumped.

It was suppose to rain all day, but instead... we got sunshine. There may have been 600 school children on a field trip and a bajillion people buying zoo tunes tickets, but the day really was perfect. Some of us may or may not have ended up walking in without paying after waiting in line for way too long. Seriously, make a separate line for zoo tunes and have more than two people selling tickets. No one was even taking tickets!! I bought a membership though so that should balance out any bad karma right?

 {Good thing we brought that stroller! Not that Lily would have anything to do with it. Sister wanted to walk... or have her 7 months pregnant mom carry her. Thank goodness for Auntie Em who took over the majority of the carrying duties.}

 {Auntie Em is a teacher and use to work at the zoo. She knows everything.}

 {Just before she gently put her head to the side and closed her eyes. Baby was exhausted.}

Every day since she has woken up and said "Zoo! Monkeys ah ah!" The only thing that would have made the day more perfect would have been Daddy. Next time.
