Once a teenager, never a flower girl

Well, Sunday is the big day…Lily’s very first flower girl gig!

It's also my sister-in-law’s wedding but come on, a flower girl debut!? Now that is important! I may have some latent issues regarding the fact that I was never asked to be a flower girl. I held out hope until about age 13 when the awkward years hit.

We are not sure how well she will do considering she isn’t walking yet. Ryan has been enlisted as the designated flower-girl-transportation-device. I made a comment about how it won’t be the last time he walks her down the aisle, I might be getting ahead of myself.

Wish us luck that there are no tears and she doesn’t eat any petals.

I will have lots of pictures to share when we get back, but I need to finish packing and preparing for an airplane ride with a one year old who is cutting some serious molars so I’ll leave you with these super sweet pics of Lily on a play date at the park.
